October Dunvalos Reach #Inworldz Update

The Dunvalos Reach sim is finally coming together and I think I have things adjusted to handle our busy life schedules.  Serenity Myst Stores and Marion Margaret Press on the sim are in the system with search listings, classifieds, and on the explorers hud, thanks to the mentors helping in this.

There’s still a ton to add to it, but visitors do have something to look at and shop for now.

Dunvalos Reach has two creation parcels on the ground, both of which are still works in progress:
Aspire, which is an original creation for a make believe civilization.
The lagoon, which is inspired by Ages in the game of Myst and features sounds from Teledahn Age in it.  Part of this used to be our homes, but we moved those high above.

Aspire, deserted and overgrown, revealed to us some surprises, like this fire marble setting within an old hollow tree.

The lagoon features a cozy campfire where junk , which may remind some of the Riven remnants at the Cleft.

The parcel for Marion Margaret Press is complete.  It’s strictly for writers and publishers to show off their publications and writing/editing/art services. PG rating is maintained, but there are work arounds available for erotica writers. Small stands are available to rent.

The biggest change from before is that we’re not holding inworld meetings and events on the sim for writing and publishing. I don’t feel like managing an event sim with the chaos of my life right now, nor do I have the time to commit to it to make sure it is managed right. Even with Mystic assisting me, who does a wonderful job.

Once things settle down a little, perhaps after our Real Life move is completed, I’ll be able to show up at various events and explore options for Dunvalos Reach.

Serenity Myst Stores have two stocked stores available right now. Tempest Myst Designs and Mystic Treasure Trove offer low-priced items for your home.

More stores will be coming, along with other builds for sale. Clock towers, gazebos, and houses are in the works. Dee’s Designs will feature small products, along with a small information center for Breast Cancer Awareness. There will be another store on the other end, or maybe two, depending on the types. Still debating that.

Only troubles I’m having right now is with doors, so I’m offering less working cabinets than I normally would. Sim upgrades have interfered with the doors a few times on products for both of us, with different scripts, and various homes we’ve tried out. May save that for when the grid is further along and do my book benches and shelf cabinets for now.

I am also sticking with poseballs for now too for our sitting animations.

We do have a hunt going on in the sim. Look for the sign and take a notecard for the three locations you’ll find the free stuff.

NOTE: On the Marion Margaret Press parcel the free gifts are the books you can buy for 0 I’z each. Purchase the books, not the ribbon.

Three locations to find ribbons and get free stuff from Mystic Serenia and Tempest Myst! There's 50 that I know of, and we'll add more later this year.

Explore, Enjoy, and be nice to each other!
